Mac Allister has signed a new contract with Manchester City until the summer of 2027, according to Sky Sports.

The deal will see the Argentine international remain at the Etihad Stadium for another five years, with the option of extending it further by one year.

Allister made his debut for City in August 2019 and has since established himself as one of the club's most important players.

He has scored nine goals and provided six assists in all competitions this season, helping City to reach the Champions League final.

Allister said: "I'm delighted to have extended my contract with Manchester City until 2027.

"I feel very fortunate to be here and I can't wait to continue playing for the club that I love."
